1990 Cup Final V Forest. I'd give Mark Robins a dodgy pie before the match.

I thought we played them in Round 3

One of the ones I'd like to go back to would be the 4th round FA Cup match against the dippers in 1999... The pandemonium at the end was fantastic.

Moscow just for the shootout. Never experienced a high quite like that at a match when VDS saved from Anelka.

The bounce after Ronaldo scored was pretty special too.

For a game I've been to I think Rotterdam in 91 just for the buzz, the week in Amsterdam was £#%&!in ace. The whole United end singing Sit Down by James. Brilliant.

For a game I didn't would have to be 68 final I think

European Cup Quarter Final Second Leg against Athletic Bilbao, 1957. Our first great European night, overturning a 3-2 deficit from the first leg. Shame it was at Main Road

Thumbs up

As for games I saw on tv, but wish I'd attended:

Rotterdam 1991

Palace Away; 1993

City 2 - 3 United; 1993/4.

United 4 - 0 Porto; 1997.

Liverpool 1 - 3 United; 1997 (I'd be holding one of the flares )

United 3 - 2 Juventus; 1997/8.

Barca 3 - 3 United; 1999.

United 2 - 1 Arsenal; 1999.

United 2 - Bayern Munich 1; 1999.

Hmm, good question. I'd probably go back to United Palace in the F.A Cup back in February 2005. I think it was Palace anyway. It was one of the first times Rooney and Ruud really seemed to hit it off. The match itself was not that great but what I did afterwards haunts me forever and I'd like to go back and stop myself from doing it.

2001. Spurs away. Spurs are 3-0 up at half time. My GF at the time said "we might as well go shopping now."
"Don't be silly, United will come back and win 5-3".... and of course they did

I want to go back to:
(a) use a megaphone so every £#%&!er in the world could hear me as only she believes I said it.
(b) bet every singlle penny I had (and could possibly borrow) on that final scoreline. I'd be seriously £#%&!ing rich now, the odds must have been in the hundreds.
