Chelsea have been begging this lad to sign for them for the last year or so. They've had him over at Stamford Bridge and Drogba has been ringing him as he's the kid's idol apparently. Can't see them letting Arsenal get him.

The Special One has described him as "pure gold" probably be another Freddy Adu or Ade Mike

He looks ridonkulously talented - I was saying here a year ago that the Belgians might end up with a half decent side sometime soon... Hazard, Defour, Fellaini, Kompany & this Lukaku lad... reasonable spine all things considered & pretty young. No idea if they have a good 'keeper.

Theres a big £#%&! off divide between them though, forget for why though. Defour is the only neutral one (well in the up and coming players).

I'd fancy Josh King to finish as one of the top scorers in that league.

Flemish & French speakers are at each others throats there... dunno if that has anything to do with it.

Careful, this is in danger of becoming an educational thread as opposed to one containing mock outrage at our inability to sign the "next Drogba".

I'm having a giggle at it while I can. As soon as it dawns on me that Arsenal have signed the "new Drogba" ahead of us I'll have a sulk... I wont

yes, there may not be a Belgium at all in a few years. They had a quite a long period withotu any central government too. Dunno if that was resolved. I hope not though. It might catch on

Mind you, the end of Belgium has been "inevitable" ever since the abdication crisis of 1950, if not earlier........

I will believe it when I see it
