I'd definitely see a James Rodriguez/Bale type as more likely than Lewandowski.
Yep.

or you know who

Moyes probably wants him sold before he takes over.

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried, pal. Rooney clearly isn't the player he was last season or the seven seasons before that and Lewandowski's done the business in the Bundesliga. The £#%&!ing BUNDESLIGA.

Van Persie's the one who's been turd over the last few weeks. Rooney has been playing well.

Ridiculous seeing prices of £20m-£25m being banded about by the clueless redtop papers; he's worth double that.

In that case we should definitely sell him

Would sell Rooney if it meant getting Bale, btw?

What do you think?

I do love Bale though.
...but I don't think the likes of Bale would want to join anyway if Rooney was shipped out in order to fund it tbh
Bale would want to come here & link up with Rooney & co.

I doubt if Bale would care much either way, tbh. Indeed, if anything his vanity might make him think he could "replace" Wazza......

Don't get the impression he's that type of lad tbh mate.
I think he's a Football man & would relish the opportunity to link up with some big name players.

Would love Bale at United. Surely he must be in the managers thinking for this summer.

There's a good possibility Bale has made his preference known on the grapevine. If he fancies United (perfectly feasible) then maybe that could influence what happens with Rooney. Obviously telling Young to get £#%&!ed and breaking the bank would be preferable.
