I was thinking along these lines, Navas is doIng well and the fans love him. The only problem is Dave. They must be keepIng an eye on him and he's getting plenty of practice.

If Madrid want DdG that badly then United hold the aces here. They must insist on one of Varane or Kroos go the other way and get an option to buy the other. Otherwise DdG goes nowhere.

As for the replacement it has to be Donnarumma for me. He won't be at Milan for too long unless they start investing some big money in to proper world class players.
