I watched an ESPN classic rerun of Arse Vs United 2003 recently. Well up to Ruud's goal where he ran like the wind and chipped Seaman or whomever was in goal.

He had it in him, he just couldn't have been bothered later on.

As for the Villa game. I'd rest Scholes and Ronaldo. Then again, I wouldn't be too upset to see United knocked out of a domestic cup competition, dare I say it.

no to be fair to him he was never right after he came back from that injury the year he was rushed back for the Milan game. noticeably slower, unfortunately he petulantly took that out on everyone else

anyway him gone now

have to say i'm looking forward to henrik in a red shirt, should have been 4 years ago but better late than never...like larry white!!!!

Really? Has that been announced officially? Btw, that might involve Ole wide if true.

That's fair enough, had overlooked his injury that season.

I had heard that rooney might be rested. my team remains as above. larsson should be brought on as a sub when we are 4-0 up.

How come? Because it's his first game or something else?

I think it's a bit unfair to throw him straight in at the deep end. I don't suppose it matters too much - he'd cope and we'd cope. but (and in spite of the borsukistas and their cries about flogging our best team to death) I think we should play our strongest team. larsson should be given a chance to "prove" himself under less pressure.
