Why?

If it was anywhere else on the pitch, it would've been ok so why not in the area?

I was going to say he seemed quite quick to make sure Porto got the ball. Did he put it down?

Didn't Henry used to try that "quick free-kick" trick all the time for Arsenal?

Don't remember Wenger having a tantrum back then.

Only a matter of time before Arsenal equalise. Porto are giving the ball away for fun.

I'm not saying it was outside the laws of the game or anything, but when you hand the ball to the ref 14 yards from goal, you don't expect him to hand it to the opposition anf invite them to score while you've still got your back turned.

Theo Walcott really is shit, isn't he.

He's going to go down as one of the biggest disappointments in English football since '1st £10m player, Phillips' at City or Paul Lake.

Walcott is clearly not suited to Arsenals style of play. You get the feeling he'd rather just receive the ball on the flanks, and either run it wide and whip a ball in or just run it in himself. Its all about team work and passing with Wenger. Should have gone to United.

Bayern's 2nd goal 5 yards offside. Awful decision.

He's a fraud as far as I can see. He doesn't seem to have 'developed' at all, I was led to believe he'd be a regular by now. All pace and that's it

Agreed - the team with the free kick should be allowed to take it when THEY want. None of this wait for the whistle shite.
