The Return of JC

Default No Rooney. Playing a side that none of the other Big Three could beat and not at our best....

....and we still won.

We're looking good.

im beginning to get that same sense of invincibly i had 7 or 8 years ago.

Back then I felt teams were started the game 1-0 down psychologically and if we went one behind, I always had the confidence we’d pull it round…..

Im getting that feeling back and its feels gooooood

Indeed. I can't see any side other otuside the top four taking points off us at home.

Too strong, too disciplined and too many match winners.

With Hargreaves and Anderson in front of the back four we are very difficult to break down and, regardless of how we play, there is always a chance that any one of Ronaldo, Giggs, Nani, Rooney, Saha or Tevez can win the game with a moment of brilliance.

Whether or not they are Fergie's best side remains to be seen, but I think there's certain more match winners than any other side.

This squad will be playing the best football we've ever seen before too long. I know plenty of us were saying this pre-season and we were right by the looks of it. But that'll only happen after they've had a set back or two, so expect to crash out of the FA Cup to Plymouth in January!

So far this season we have had injuries to a couple of key players and been able to ride them out, but if the entire defence is in the treatment room when the European Cup knock-out stages come around we will struggle again. I mean, a defence of Nutsack, Fletcher, Brown, Pique, O'Shea will not stop Barcelona anymore than it would've stopped Milan last season

Yeah. The work ethic of Giggs towards the end is a good example. Here's a guy who has been at United for 46 years and is still chasing players down like it's 0-0 when the game is comfortably won.

There's no need for a huddle. The spirit will show itself on the pitch.

The 99 side never huddled.

I just meant it has that mix of class, pace and aggression that we had in '94 but OK.

I just meant that there are quite a few comparisons that could be drawn between the corresponding players in the lists. A rather simplistic view perhaps but whatever...
