Will we finish above or below Liverpool next season?
Notwithstanding the hilarious loss in the Champions League final, there has been lots of angst about Liverpool who seem to have an effective style of play and be utilising the transfer market effectively to rectify their weaknesses.
So, time to nail colours to the mast. Are we going to finish above them in the league next season? |

Don't get why people are worried about them. They're not winning the league, so there's no reason to care what they do. Our sole aim is closing the gap on city. That's the target. Doesn't matter what Liverpool or the rest do because city will be setting the pace again.
If anything, them, Chelsea and Spurs strengthening is a good thing, because it can't just be us putting the pressure on. We'll need these teams to beat them as well. |

all depends on the dreaded 3rd season.
If Jose can change (he can't), then I would expect we will end within 6 pts either side of liverpool. |

It will be close.
Some Comical Alis on here denying Liverpool are improving and are a threat. In addition to that CL starting team they will lose Can and gain Keita, Fabinho, possibly Fekir. Ox, Gomez, injured and a new goalie and if they get Tarkowski too - hard to see how they won't be a threat. |
