I love Keane as much as the next person, but it doesn't make much sense for him to be suggesting people are pretending to be injured when someone doing the same thing to him is precisely the reason he cites for leaving Saipan. He has even stated that he regrets having played through injury himself.
Does he want them to train despite being injured, like he did but now regrets? Or leave the squad for being accused of faking injury, like he also did? It's all a bit odd, as is O'Neill's steadfast support of his actions. I wonder did he put him up to it. |
