ashley cole is playing today, rio and rooney will be fit. england have a good coach and a lucky draw, decent chance of getting to the semis imo.

Yeah, I specifically said that stockbrokers won't buy them. You can't buy taste or class so I'd expect people from all backgrounds having them in addition to the chavs. If you're saying there won't be a disproportionate amount of chavs having them then, as Brian Cox would say, you're wrong.

One of the joys of the international football tournaments is the uncertainty of who will eventually pump the bunch of inadequate halfwits out of it.

I wont cheapen this joy by taking a guess at which stage of the competition it will occur but I am hoping they get beaten in the final just so that it hurts more.

Probably the quarters - hopefully further but can't see it. Really hope Thierry Henry has a great tournament - would be well deserved for his outstanding contribution to international football and the South African World Cup in particular.

England are a quarter final team at best. If they get very very lucky they could make the semis, but then go out on penalties to Germany

We'll play shit against some shit side and go through and then we'll meet a decent side. We'll boss the match and lose. Rooney will be the scapegoat.

Quarters, where the exit will be some painful experience against an equally average team, involving red cards, a dubious goal and a Manchester United player as The Villain.

One thing I would like though is for England to play France and dick them.

If brazil and spain both win their groups as expected, they cant meet until the final. Can back both for decent profit. Skybet will give u your money back if england win!
