Default Possible Bosmans

According to the sun this morning, the following players are available on a free:

David James, Kris Boyd, Robert Pires, Mariano Pernia, Sidney Govou, Sol Campbell, Joe Ledley, Joe Cole, Marouane Chamakh, Juliano Belletti, Michael Ballack, William Gallas, Mario Melchiot, Mark Bresciano & Kevin Kuranyi.

I'm pretty sure Chamakh is heading to Arsenal and apparently Cole is off to Spurs. Anyone reckon that Fergie might try bring in a few of these? Govou has experience and could probably do a job.

I can't remember a summer where so many decent players were available for free.

Value.

Not a worthwhile signing for United among them imo.

Chamakh may have been worth a dabble last summer though, not now.

Kuranyi maybe.

Only seen Bresciano a couple of times.

Can't see any of them really improving us much other than being squad players however we seem fine for numbers imo.

Cole and Ledley would be good additions.

joe cole could be tried in the middle when scholesy doesn't play, but would he get in our strongest 11; see michael owen.

bosman's are never free anyway - most of the players on that list would want £5M - £7M for signing on...

Kuranyi has always struck me as a good little player, not world shattering but easily as useful as a perminantly fit Owen.

no thanks. i'd sooner see one or two good signings, half a dozen out and some younger players being given chances.

This.

Most important and interesting thing at OT this summer is who is going to leave imo.

I'm not arguing that I think they'd improve us or even saying that we should sign any of them. I just think in the current circumstances, there's a big chance that we'll try and sign someone on that list.

Dipstick . I know he's a big lad, its a turn of phrase like when I'd say a mate's car is a nice little motor no matter what size it is .

He would also fill the snide facial hair void that will be left when Gary Nev leaves.

Marlon Harewood and Paul Scharner are also available.

If Scharner scores winner Sunday, i'd sign him up
