I would've thought United would have done something about that. One of the main problems when kids come through is nearly always their weight and Fergie always seems to address this quickly. I'm surpised Fletcher is still the same three years on.

Ronaldo is the best example. He was skinny as hell when he first came but now he's built to £#%&!. This, coupled with his height, makes him a tough nut.
O'shea is another (although perhaps not all in the right area. Even to a lesser extent Richardson. Just toughened up a bit.

Fletcher has always been this bad. He'll never make it in the middle of the pitch unless he beefs up...........

Can't play one touch no matter what the circumstances
Can't tackle
Loses possession when anyone else at that level for the number of years experience he's had would always be expected to keep the ball.
Can't play on the wing because he has one speed and can't beat a player.
Can't play in the middle because he runs after everything which opens up gaps in the centre.
