Why are there still stupid @#%&!s who think standing has anything to do with Hillsborough or some Hillsborough support group?

If that Aspinall @#%&! kicks up a fuss she should be told to get £#%&!ed

This is the "big news"?

£#%&! off. Standing isn't banned outside of the top two divisions and a club outside the top two divisions will have a standing area. Wow I'm so excited

BBC mentioned the other day about WBA offering to pilot the scheme at their ground.
Shrewsbury doing it isn't really that big news but a Prem Club would be.

Yes but until the law changes or there's even any indication that there could be a law change, West Brom saying they'd be up for a trial doesn't mean much

Aspinall likes this. ^^^^^^

It's called "atmosphere" btw

Not quite the same as sitting next to your mum in a nice cosy seat for 90 mins but you could get used to it.

Maybe stand in a "no drinkers area".

What amuses me most about these threads is people inventing Margaret Aspinall's response to get all indignant about Margaret Aspinall's response and then to send the irony meter off the charts claim to be fed up of people bringing Hillsborough into the debate all the time,

That and people telling 40 odd year old match goers that they don't remember standing right because they don't think it was the apotheosis of spectator experience.

Won't be long now
As someone who has gone arse over tit many times over the years I'm Surprised no-one has had a serious injury from standing in seated areas.
It's surely a lot safer to have a rail in front of you when celebrating a last minute winner. It's a no brainer.
Wonder how long until the no alcohol at pitch side ban is lifted?
