First of all, I'm sure you didn't give the interview in French, so presumably there were no translation issues, so did you say these things or not? How do you misquote "Birmingham is a crap city", or "I'd rather shoot myself than live in Cork"?

Surely there are only two possibilities, either the magazine fabricated the statements or you said them. Where does misquoting come into it?
