agreed.

however, don't forget the yanks wanted to make the goals bigger for the men (so there were more "scores"). they will fight any attempt to introduce galgoals to birdball.

they might agree to make the shorts smaller, though.

It must get exhausting being permanently angry. Especially when everyone knows you’re full of shit to begin with.

Arsenal Women's pre-season preparations got off to a humiliating start after they were thrashed 5-0 by the boys' U15 side in a friendly.

The match took place behind closed doors as last season's Women's Super League runners-up began preparations for the new season.

Arsenal refused to confirm any further details about the friendly.

A few weeks back they did the top three England goal scorers and I think third in the list is a striker from the womens teams. It’s a different ball game, stop comparing it to a level I it will never reach and try to promote what it is. Push the excitement of it, the competitiveness of it , the amazing stories that some of the players have gone through to reach the very top of their game.

stop trying to pretend it’s something that it’s not. Champion the recent win , inspire young girls and maybe over decades it grows to a better level . You can’t rush growth in an industry.

Ireland women qualified for Wimbledon or the Grand National or something last night. Celebrated with a sing-song that's landed them in hot water...

Really can’t see the problem, our brave lionesses sing a song celebrating the commander in chief of the parachute regiment, what’s the issue?

Then you get the English Sky Sports presenter asking an Irish woman if it highlights a need for education

Dodgy territory right there

All this silly bother would’ve been avoided if they’d just stayed home and made sure their husband’s tea was on the table when he got home from work
