Nice to see us scoring from crosses again, even if the second didnt hit Rashford. Seems a while since we did that regularly.

Telles’ return is well timed.

Martial Left, Cavani centre? May as well just not play anyone on the right tbh.

I’m sure Donny would jump at the chance to play inside right in a three behind the main striker. If Mata can play there so can he.

Can’t do worse than Mata yesterday or James whenever he plays there

Getting close to suggesting we put Jesseh there tbh

It’s easy to say now in hindsight, but this is a decent Everton side. How much have we heard this season about the impact of Allan, Rodriguez and Dacoure, but we owned the middle of the park and restricted them to very little.

fantastic team performance yesterday....worked extremely hard, pressed well as a group(at times) but more importantly showed great response after going down 1 nil on a route one long hoof ball.

Mata was really the only weak link in the lineup yesterday. he's just too slow and off the pace when we have the ball and he doesn't press very well as the opposite winger.

Bruno was obviously the star of the show but i think overall the midfield won the game for us as those three were brilliant once again as a unit.
