If true these 4 players , Kroos, Cavani, Thiago & James will have an average age of around 30 next season .
No fullbacks or CB’s , the areas we need strengthening.

In saying that I would support him if hired but he would be way down any list of preferred options .

Yup.

Wouldn’t discount him after the success he’s had but he does feel like one who could need a more complete squad. Suppose that goes for all managers, but Zidane feels like he could be another Ancelotti in the sense that he manages the big egos supremely and quietly finds a balance.

Wouldn’t bet against him creating a simple but effective system to get more from our talent tbh.

Okay maybe getting more isn’t that tough. But what he and Ancelotti (learned under him of course) do is make finding that balance look easier than it is. Masters of getting 25 egos to pull in the same direction with simple yet effective systems.

Would personally still much prefer Poch because of that connection with young players and the fact that we need to rebuild an identity. But United are a circus club and will likely remain so, and as such a cool head like Zidane is arguably well suited.

Getting exciting. Imagine that bald headed genie leading United on a cheeky jaunt to champions league glory.

We would walk the league with those 4 players and Zizou as coach. Probably the CL as well.
