Don't think a points deduction would cut it in City's case. Need to go back and take away the titles they cheated to win.

One of the things that scares me about the Qataris taking over is that I suspect they would do similar things to succeed, and forever taint the club's history. Imagine if it were United who where facing these charges. It would never be off the news.

Expulsion. Make them re-apply to get into non-league imo.

They don’t have to do the things that City’s owners had to do. Manchester United generate more than enough money. Eradicate the debt, get us back into the champions league on the regular and there’s no need to fiddle the books or any trumped up ‘sponsorships’.

The Abu Dhabi lot wanted City to go from the lower/mid table mediocrity that they’d languished in for 40 years to champions in the space of 4 years. So they had to plough ungodly sums of money in that period which they couldn’t have generated organically. Hence why they signed sponsorships with themselves and paid employees off the books.
