This will be tough. Southampton are fresh and will be fired up like nothing else. Mkihi is a big miss for us.

They're tough to break and the new guy they have up front has settled quickly, but we're on a role and we should have just too much for them.

2-1.

Owen scored, Vidic should have been sent off early on which O'Neill and Tyler went on about for about 4 years after (ignoring the fact that Nani was sent off for nothing at their place a few weeks earlier).

I think they've played once in the period we've played our last five games. We've had three matches since they last played.

Be interesting to see how they approach it. Surely they try and out run us early, rather than risk the long game.

Terrified of Fellaini in a final tbh.

If Carrick is fit enough to start, I don't think Fellaini will be there.

An absolute total liability he is. One of the worst defenders i've ever seen with the ball at feet as well.

Without doubt a very fair point.

Yep, beat Spurs after a shootout - maybe Foster's finest hour in the shirt?

One of the most awkward no doubt, he does not look a natural footballer, and that leads to people overstating how bad he actually is on the ball. He will never be more than functional but he is hardly giving the ball away every time he gets it or losing the ball in bad areas because of a poor touch.

Started 55 games last season, and was clearly fatigued towards the end.
