robsons performance v barca when we won 3-0 is probably the best I have seen from a united player at OT - and I was lucky enough to see law best and charlton.

Atmosphere that night was £#%&!ing electric

years later I was in the company of graham hogg who told me robbo was physically £#%&!ed for a month after that game, he had run himself to standstill

Have to agree about the atmosphere that night, I was only 10 but I've never heard OT louder at any point since.

City in the league cup this year was good.

3-1 vs the scousers New Years Day 89 and one that rarely gets mentioned is the game where we stopped Arsenals 50 game unbeaten run. OT was like a bearpit that day.

£#%&!ing loved robbo. an awe-inspiring player. .

Couldn't say it better myself.

As I rapidly approach 40, having seen as many United highs as lows, only Eric rates higher in my book than Robbo.

That was late in 2002 when they were running away with the league. Nobody gave us an earthly

Robbo for me.

He's the greatest living Englishman ever. How many players could get lashed up like he did on a Friday then put in a shift at 3pm on the Saturday?

I just wished he was 22/23 when Eric signed because Bryan Robson deserved to win every honour around.

Everton, was that the FA cup? Their end emptied rapidly after the goal and Warwick road was rather electric.
