I watched this rather unsavoury incident unravel from my vantage point in the Directors box.

Regrettably, I was involved with a very agreeable 96' Meursault at the time so cannot be relied on to attribute blame.

apparently the guy who threw it has apologised but its not been accepted and he is still facing a ban. Wasn't deemed a sancerre apology

it's not a bad idea. Unless you have white wine handy, that shit gonna stain.

but obviously the critical question here is, what kind of red wine? because if it was any good that is a crime in itself to waste.
