Default championship playoffs. bristol city v palace

jesus christ what a piss-poor game of football. men in 10-15 yards of space just smashing it wildly into the air. No semblence of cohesive attacking play at all. £#%&! me. are either of these £#%&!ing mobs going to be any decent addition to the top flight? i doubt it.

It's Bristol City I have been most disapointed with. They are the home team, they started the game 2-1 up and yet they have been so negative throughout.

it's at times like this the gulf in class becomes so evident. 5 mins of normal time to go and the players were terrified of being in possession of the ball, too scared of making mistakes.

I thought Derbys 11 points would be the lowest total for at least a decade but if this is the standard of football coming up then i'm not so sure.

I saw the first leg and thought it was pretty good. I think what you're describing is down to nerves as much as any lack of ability. Not even the chase for trophies carries the same element of fear as relegation/promotion games, especially for non-millionaire pros.

Fantastic goal there.

Bristol City will have no problems in the PL.

When the value of a Prem place for either team is in the region of £60,000,000 - you'd expect some nerves.

Until Trundle scores a lovely goal, taken very calmly.

I agree about the first game, it was entertaining, which is why I've been disapointed tonight; that goal makes up for a bit of that though.

decent enough strike. thought the keeper could have got there, was hardly right in the corner.

Even Warnock was applauding that goal.

i haven't seen much of bristol city admittedly, but i already don't like them. Their spud-faced supporters seem to be the usual run-of-the-mill, happy clapper, jester hat wearing, lower division morons that will wet their pants at the mere opportunity to boo ronaldo. You know, like wigan on sunday, cheering wildly every time he so much as mis-controls the ball.

Hull seem to be of the same ilk. But at least they have frasier campbell playing for them, so I hope they go up.
