Worth a sneaky bid or not what we require?

Isn't he a forward who likes to "drop off" the front man? Perfect for us then.

Well...perhaps for our style of play but we have a few of those already I know. Just seems a shame.

we only have 2 of them, def need another.

Podolski has been shite for Bayern. Obvious talent but has not produced it often enough. He can fick off.

Nah, he's definitely further forward in a more traditional no.9 mould.

I'd take him if he was cheap.

Hmmmm, really? I bow to your greater knowledge sir.

In which case, nah we need Berbatov. He can hold hands with Rooney and Tevez in "the hole".

That's the thing, he's been benched all season for a reason. Done well for Germany apparently though. The fact he's out of favour may keep his price low too but he'll want to be first choice judgin by his comments. Ok. I'll forget about it.

I'd have Berbatov at the drop of a hat as well

Podolski is decent in the air, pacy & young enough to not get all hissy about being on the bench behind Rooney & Tevez... can't see any big issues if he was bought in really as 3rd or 4th choice.

Made me giggle - reminds me of when I'm driving and see a fit lady walking down the street. I draw attention to said lady, then one of my thick mates pipes up with 'yeah, but she's Polish though'...

as if that somehow makes her inhuman

I don't know much about Podolski's background or his character, although having a few behind the scenes issues at Bayern is really not much to go by

What i do know is that Lukas Podolski is powerful, fast, skillful, has a great touch and a wicked shot, and that he can score all types of goals.

tons of talent and would offer something completely different to what we have atm. the question is really about his attitude. maybe worth a punt - probably not too expensive and it would hardly be the first 'difficult' player fergie has taken on. could be a good move for podolski as well.

4 goals in 38 league games in the last 2 seasons for Bayern. Just what we need
