Looks like he's being talked up as an automatic name of the England Team sheet. If only someone had known when Everton were getting him for an utter steal that the lad was going to be class.

He's a decent CB, nothing more. Would be 4th or 5th choice at United and will be 4th or 5th choice for England when everyone is fit.

Class, dunno about that, would've been great having a short slow backup centreback for the last 3 years though eh.

Cannavaro was a short slow centre back and he won world player of the year.

Think he'd broken into his national team as first choice, rather than 4th/5th before he was 28. Tbh, the comparison is ridicuous.
