Plus lets not forget what illegal drugs do like ruin peoples lives, sure you can have alcoholics by they can choose to get help. When you're addicted to coke and owe a dealer Alot of money things can get dirty and change a person. Had a Former 'Mate' try and rob my house when he owed 2 grand to his supplier when he went and took some of the shit Ends up running away because he can't handle it.

Used to be a decent lad as well.

Not many dope heads start fights. There must be hundreds of people behind bars who did something out of character when pissed. Doctor's will tell you most drugs are safer than alcohol too.

In terms of second party affect, alcohol (through driving, fighting, violent crime, death of loved ones) is by far the most dangerous drug around.

of course. and legalised drugs can be controlled for quality and taxed to cover the costs of medical problems resulting from (ab)use, just as with alcohol and tobacco.
