happy with the starting xi but that is slightly worrying. lets hope the lads on the pitch do the business.

Looking at it closely the bench is absolutely shocking apart from young Kiko(and thats all he is, young and harsh to expect too much from him).

All looking very predictable if Liverpool win the midfield battle.

That bench lacks quality to say the least.

Odd. He's the suprising one there imo.

Shin it out for a throw in Kiko.

If he comes on today and again barely touches the ball.......

Very weird thing to wum about. Deserves a day ban simply for laziness.

His pace would be useful off the bench, but I don't think he has adjusted to the way we play yet. Everytime one of our midfielders picks up the ball, chico will make a run in behind the defender, while this is admirable united very rarely use this option. This leaves chico in an off side position and out of the game, he just needs to be a bit more patience in making his runs!

Desperately want Gerrard to dislocate his spinal column today and Torres to puncture a lung.

Without question. Liverpool are inferior to us. It's not my belief, it's a fact. The league table from last season bears that out.

Fair enough. At least there's no concern about Owen making too many runs.

that bench lacks attacking options to change the game other than kiko. there are options - anderson on and one of the wingers pushed into the middle, for example - but i'm still surprised there's no obertan there, he's a player who really does offer something different. that's where the signing of owen £#%&!s me off, however shit he is he'll be on the bench, which means somebody else won't be.

what's going on with rafael?
