Default Team v Fulham - The Official Thread.

I'd like to get some players who didn't start against the Barcodes a game but it's too important to win and we lost down there last season so i'd not make many, in fact i'd just make 1, changes :-

VDS
Rafael
Evans
Vidic
Senegalese Superman
Valencia
Scholes
Fletcher
Nani
Berbatov
Rooney

Be very harsh dropping Berbs after Monday.

It's not a question of being harsh - we've been hustled out of it down there two seasons running (and arguably 2007 too). We need three midfielders to compete and hopefully dominate midfield and possession of the ball. Regardless, 4-3-3 is our best formation, brings the most from our best players and produces our most effective football.

Hopefully we can be a couple of goals up after 60 minutes and give Gibson a run out.

Hopefully we can be a couple of goals up after 60 minutes and give Cleverley a run out.

Played last night for the reserves, so I assumed he wouldn't get a game on Sunday. Would be very happy to see him come on. Hopefully 'Pea' and Wazza can get a goal

I fear you could be right, let's just hope, SAF proves us both wrong.

I'd go with Jabroni's team but think he'll pick the above.

You mean the same team as this week...

I think Berbatov deserves to keep his place in the side alongside Rooney, so I imagine it'll be same again...although perhaps Park might get a game.

Evans

Me too. This early in the season I can live with it... building up karma for when I really need it.

no £#%&!ing about, just the best players available in the best formation we have - which obviously means the formation we usually use ie 4-4-2

agree with Michael Jackson that Park may well be the best player for this particular match, but have a feeling Ferguson is going to go for it with Nani and Valencia - hope so anyway

same team as for Newcastle i suppose, though Rafael starts if I'm picking it. hopefully Rooney can find the net. wouldn't be unhappy if Hernandez gets the nod ahead of him though. there's plenty of time for Rooney to get into the groove, so why strain him now?
