I’ll be amazed if we sign anyone outside of Felix, because he won’t cost anything.

I think we have to accept that this season was always likely to expose a lack of depth and just how much investment this squad needed when ETH took over. We needed 10 new players, we got 5. That’s our lot. Getting the Glazers to spend is tough enough when they’re willing, never mind when they’re looking to sell. Why would notoriously stingey gets release funds when they have one foot out the door?

We have to make do with what we have. Despite that, we still have a squad capable of being in and around that top four and we’re on the right trajectory.

We need new owners and then we can really get going under this manager.

Even if we're interested there's almost zero chance of getting him in January with Benfica top of their league, and in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Raising it`s head again with reports saying talks are advanced. He would suit us as we have a few Spanish players to help him settle in and he looks the part. Hope this one turns out to be true.

It would be, well certainly better than most of us had previousy antisipating during the past week, that's for sure, so let's just hope all 3 of them arrive

There’s a load of potentially world class player available this summer for supposedly relatively good fees but we’ll probably miss out on them while these leaches hang around.

New owners in (Jim or Qatar lad) and I’d be confident we’d have the likes of Kim, Ramos, the Brighton lad and a new keeper going into the season (with the sale of the deadwood)

As it is I just can’t see us doing much.

I reckon we’ll sign 3, maybe 4. We’ll get Mount, one other and that’ll take our £120 up. We’ll shift a couple, likely Maguire and Henderson and we’ll bag another one late in the window.

3 top quality players will make a big difference to us.

As soon as it became clear the new owners wouldn’t be in this summer, it was always going to be a tough window. Hopefully this will be the last one under their ownership
