Justice done there. Shaun Phillips fouled the Japanese defender before the ball broke to Lampard. Lampard then hit the wall with a quick free kick yet for some reason the ref gave him another go at it.

Always nice to see that fat @#%&! miss.

Apparently JT has been taking penalties in training too. Could be interesting.

he hardly takes them for us, just because youre a goalscorer doesnt always mean youre good at penalties.

I'd much rather a @#%&! like Lampard was taking penalties given that in about 6 weeks time the nation will be looking for a new hate figure.

The Jap keeper made a few decent saves, but he's hardly been overworked has he?
