I can't see us having £28m to lash out on Milner. I think Ferie has taken a liking to him but you'd get an awful lot better than him for that cash. hellvellen mentioned Kacar in a previous thread that's a signing that is an awful lot more like Uniteds current policy. You'd get him for under £10m with Hertha going down I would think.

would give us some much-needed energy and bite in midfield alongside fletcher, i think it would be a fine signing. we still need a creative attacking midfielder, however.
