People used this argument with Michael Owen. He has worked out alright considering.

It'd be a decent signing if he'd take less than £100k and was happy to be a squad player.

If you like that sort of thing. Now out for the rest of the season, just when he will be needed. Fantastic.

The main point being, that Cole won't be on a 'pay as you play' he'll be on a kings ransom on the nose, £120k a week or something equally stupid, and his injury record over the last few years is worse than Owen's.

Got a bit of news on this actually, that in my eyes proves he's signing for us, but i won't bother sharing it because i'll just be shot down as a wumstation timelord.

I'll tell it anyway, i'm not arsed what feedback i get now, Koppas is the only person i care about and he's let me down.

My sister is not really mates, but was in the same year as Joe Coles missus at School, so has her on her facebook. Her status a couple days ago was some vague line about 'becoming a northerner....' and according to my sister, was followed by about 40 comments from mainly men underneath it, asking if Joe was going to United or City. She didnt reply though so i dunno.

Nothing concrete, just what she said.
