The team deserved a great homecoming from the City they represent. I think the councils behaviour was scandalous. According to more then one of the fanzines, the club was happy to go along with it as they didn't fancy paying for the policing

Who knows when we'll win another European Cup? Inter Milan have been waiting 45 years ffs; after 1999 it was 9 years till we got to another final. They're precious moments and when they come round we should make the most of them.

Rangers fans acted the @#%&!, that is true. But this call was from Mcr City Council. Rangers had no say in the decision to deny us the parade. Blaming Rangers just excuses the @#%&!s who came up with the decision. We've all seen football violence before, no one banned fans then, why now? It was a shitty excuse to £#%&! the fans over.
