Not really trying to start anything-I just cannot undestand all the vitriolic put-downs. He was not United class. I think everyone recognises that. But he gave his all and when he broke his leg he was a warrior in the shirt and the scouse were scum. Some have been more consistent in their hatred because he was not from their neighbourhood.
