Indeed.

Absolute freak that LvG didn't make the CL btw. So much bad luck in one season.

Anyway, we're all happy with where we are now, which is the main thing.

covering old ground here tbh, lvg gets in the champs league and he would have still been our manager. the club are not arsed one bit how they just want the £#%&!ing money

Doubt it. Was hated when top of the league. Now we're 19 points off top but much better off.

I doubt it. He had completely lost the players and a sizeable portion of match going support wanted him out by the Christmas of his second season. He was on his way irrespective imo.

It seemed ludicrous at the time, but at the end of van gaal’s first season peter Kenyon was reportedly telling people not to be surprised to see van gaal sacked by Christmas such was the enemies he’d made at united. Kenyon, the business partner of mourinho’s agent. It was only going to end one way.
