His key skill is the way he lowers expectations and still fails to meet them.

It's incredible.

Sacking managers isn't normally the answer and Sunderland clearly have a lot of problems but you can't get results like these and keep your job.

It'll be great to hear 'give him time' again.

Have they conceived a fifth since I posted this yet?. ..
This might be literally the only job Sam Allardyce could get in football right now. Moyes: making the untouchables look attractive since 2013.

Still think it's too early for Sam to come back, but it's the ideal situation for him if they can hold on a while longer.

I genuinely hate Moyes now. Way more than when he was actually here. His career has been a phenomenal failure from the moment he gurned at his giant mouse mat.

Still gets a wonderful easy ride from his pals in the press through doesn't he.

It's £#%&!ing mental.

Jose Mourinho has a 10 year career of unbelievable success in the hardest leagues in Europe...has a dodgy 9 month period and he's "damaged goods", "finished" and "behind the times."

Moyes does a half decent job of making everton finish mid table for a few years then has a 4 year period of total and utter failure including taking the the champions down to 7th, their lowest finish in 25 years and still he's made out to be unfairly treated by clubs.

Yep. Ridiculous.

British managers generally get an easier ride, but it's because he's an underdog too. When José spends big money on big players, there's an expectation of instant success, ignoring that the money doesn't mean he gets his ideas across any quicker.

We saw what the reaction was at the slightest hint of blaming the players after the city game. 'Threw his players under the bus' etc.

Moyes has been making excuses before he'd even failed and has ceaselessly shifted blame every single week. Nothing. Because, hey, it's a tough job.

Like managing United is £#%&!ing easy.

Guardiola playing Fernando at right-back today.

No doubt we should all be bowing down to the genius. Enlightening us with his presence on a weekly basis.

Not sure the vermin do tbh. They've a lot of streaky players who've never been prolific.

They're winning tonight though, obviously.
