shame that central midfielders breaking through the middle got outlawed we used to do it well

class anyone remember if he got done by the FA for that? definitely would nowadays

don't think so but.......

i didn't realise the first went in off big fat nige's head
thought eric missed the pen at 0-0
and in my minds eye he ended up on the advertising boards after his goal..

...so he probably got a 3 month ban

No. Nothing happened.

In a world before TalkSport & SkySports News Footballers used to occasionally get away with stuff like that ....not that the FA only react off the back of media outrage or anything
