Been on the first team bench a few times recently. I get the impression they aren't expect too much of him or putting too much pressure on him this season, just working on him in training and getting him used to being here.

I imagine they will be expecting him to push on next season.

I usually try and look for a positive (well, in someone's first season anyway ) but I can't see any.

He's probably injured. England under 20s have a game soon and he isn't in that squad either.
