Yeah. They binned the rule off banning Channel 5 players from playing in Champions League.

17.07 Excluding the three rounds of the UEFA Intertoto Cup and the UEFA Super
Cup, and subject to paragraph 17.18 below, a player may not play UEFA
club competition matches for more than one competing club in the course of
the same season. A substitute player who is not fielded is entitled to play for
another club competing in the same season’s UEFA club competitions,
provided that he is registered with the UEFA administration in accordance
with the present Regulations.

17.17 For all matches from the start of the first knockout round, a club may register
a maximum of three new eligible players for the remaining matches in the
current competition. Such registration must be completed by
1 February 2008 at the latest. This deadline cannot be extended.

17.18 One player from the above quota of three who has played UEFA club
competition matches for another competing club in the current season may
exceptionally be registered, provided that the player has not been fielded:
in the same competition for another club
for another club that is currently in the same competition.
25

Furthermore, if the player’s new club is playing in the UEFA Cup, his former
club must not have played in the UEFA Cup at any point in the current
season.

So he could play for them.

They'll need a direct replacement. They'll probably snap up Warnock, Adam and Chamberlain but they'll need somebody to lead the line for the rest of the season. Somebody with premiership experience, a proven goalscorer, and most importantly, who is available................

Thumbs up Re: Dippers reject £35 million bid for Bruno

RAWK's on it now. They dont believe it

- Don't think we can take the risk of even considering it if they tripled that offer. We'd have decent money yeah, but playing alongside Torres is one of the main reasons a lot of players would be interested in coming here in the position we are in.

Like Charlie Adam and Stephen Warnock?

- He has a £50m Buy-Out Clause, so let's see...

- Liverpool spokesman my arse. Chelsea are the new Everton for putting in phoney bids. Roman put the blocks on any major spending years ago.

- Chelsea do this every time we're near to playing them. I remember before a big CL game, I think it was Grant saying he'd love to bring Gerrard to Chelsea.

That bid cannot be serious, it is an obvious tactic to distract either a different deal, or to show a different deal they aren't scared of looking elsewhere. Did they honestly think that would be accepted? Saying that, if you seen our bid for Suarez, it seems piss-take season is in full effect.

- Complete non story. And if the dickeads that wrote this shite new the first thing about Nando and his allegiances they would know that when the sad day arrives and he departs Libpool it will be to go home. Usual uninformed shite for the masses.

- It would be like getting rid of the kitchen to put in a new patio.

- Interesting. I wonder if we've leaked it to cover up finalising the Suarez deal?

Edit: 'ok guys, Suarez is due to sign within a couple of hours, stevie I want you to say how much you admire Mark Fish, Dirk I want you to release an unofficial 'leak' that Torres is being chased by clubs unknown! That will throw those pesky other clubs off the scent of us trying to sign Suarez!'
