The only channel who'd employ him would be RTE. Way too abrasive for UK tv.

Most people like Prof Brian Cox at the moment - I think a Keane/Cox partnership would stand up well.

Jamie Redknapp was afraid to say anything in front of Ruud Gullit.

Imagine Jaime in the middle of Roy Keane and Graeme Souness.

The devils advocate in me would suggest SAF bullied people for years and he's done alright out of it. You need an element of fear in a changing room.

An element yes, but Keane always comes across as having a big box full of sticks but no carrots. Clive.

Fergie is of course able to scream and shout with the best of them but he also knows when it's not needed.

Maybe I'm wrong but I can't imagine Keane being good at building up a player with fragile confidence.

Every documetary about fergies management says that he also knows how to put a player at ease and make them feel special when they are doing things right. I can't see Keano doing that. Sounds like he's all stick and no carrot to me. ooh err

edit: great minds

He had the chance at St James and absolutely bottled it.

Why swing and get sent off? May as well have just landed ffs, he was still gonna get his marching orders.

Big Dunc is the only footballer who could've decked Keano.

Probably why Keano never tried it on tbf.

During one half-time break when the team was trailing 3-0, his decision to sit arms-folded in a chair in total silence contributed nothing to the chance of an improved second-half performance.
God forbid any of the Sunderland players should have farted then.
