Let's be honest, we don't have any youth players who are good enough.

I think we would be happy to buy 'young' players, however...

You’d have a point if we could reasonably expect some of the young players to get decent minutes.

His recent comments suggest that isn’t going to happen.

All roads lead back to the Glazers.. Under investment for years and years has put the club in the state it is today.. 600 million of the clubs money spent on transfers in their ownership equals 50 odd million spent on average in 13yrs here.. Yet the gimps have burned through alot more money on interest and handouts to themselves..

The team fergie won a european cup with was already in place before the gimps took over.. Hargreaves was the only signing of big money to start the final, Tevez was a loanee and Van der Sar signed for peanuts..

Anderson, Nani and Carrick after the yanks took over but again its easy to say that they have not backed the managers.

City are not that £#%&!ing good. They just have a much better manager.
Then they must have a much better manager than Spurs and Liverpool.

So either we hire a manager better than the best manager in the premier league (possibly world) or.... we keep the second best and outspend them.

Personally, I think if you give Pep and Mou-Mou the same amount of resources, it's a coin toss as to who ends up winning the most titles. Pep starting off with better players and going on to spend more is a recipe for disaster.

That's a club issue, not a managerial one.

making out that Jose has had no money to spend since he came here

the £#%&!er has spent close to 300mil dont make out that poor old Jose has not had the backing from the club.

Jose has hardly sold any of the £#%&!ing dross left from LVG

Everton are dropping 50 mil on players nowadays mate. Liverpool just dropped 75m on a centre back and 65m on a £#%&!ing goalkeeper.

300m? That's £#%&!ing chicken feed where United are concerned, especially given our supposed lofty ambitions.

City have spent 500m on a squad that was better than ours to begin with anyway.

How does £400m sound?

Binned off one of his signings who he couldn't get a run of games out of in 18 months for Sanchez who has stunk the place out and may well push out one of the best young players in football.

Like a number you've pulled out of your arse?

Because the actual number is 365m (i'm including Fred and Dalot as well)

city had a huge turn over of players last summer(13 left) so the squad was not better than ours we decided to keep our shit and not move it on.

Yes it was. When both managers took their respective jobs in 2016, City were starting with a far better squad than United were, with better players.

365m is closer to 400m than 300m so I win.
