Always seemed to have more time for the London clubs, it was not really biased commentary though, just empathy in his wording.
If it was a London club player making a poor tackle he might describe it as " an unfortunate collision", or a bad miss, would be 'bad luck with that one". London clubs success would be described as 'deserving ' of a good result' for others it would be "fortunate, a few things went their way". His bias was subtle, not like the Liverpool 'luvvies' we get now! |
