Ren and Stimpey.
Tbf Delph isn't their first choice left back and only playing there because of an injury, where as Young looks to be our first choice in that position

Plus you can get away with playing delph at left back when you have 4-6 of the best players in the league in your side every week.

For all the actual defending they have to do every game, City could probably get away with playing Fabien Barthez at left back ffs. They have 80% of the ball every single game and the midfielders and forwards usually win the ball or foul the opposition before it gets anywhere near their defence.

But yeah defending wasn't really my issue with that. My problem, mainly, is with how little our full backs over lap or produce anything in the way of attacking threat. They're dreadful. The pair of them.

Part of the problem is that they aren't dreadful.

They're ok. And as long as they're ok, they're not perceived as an issue. The fact they work hard masks a lot.... but they are both converted wingers and it's shows.

Nice to think Shaw might get a run out tonight and a chance to impose himself. Not holding my breath on that one though.

It's about time we absolutely leathered somebody and it's going to happen today. 4-0 Zlatan to come off the bench for the 4th.

Fat rafa is in for a rough day.
