According to an old spurs guy on SSN just now, he spoke to someone 'pretty high up' yesterday.

So he spoke to someone "pretty high up" then he goes on national television and spouts what he got told.

Graham something? He said Corluka WILL sign for Spurs tomorrow, but he said he 'believes' Veloso will, as will another, possibily milito, as they've been tracking Veloso for quite a while.

Then he said the offer on the table from United originally was 21m, spurs wanted 30, but he thinks they'll settle on 25/26.

If true, he'll be getting told £#%&! all in future.

Its bloody crazy how Spurs can bring in all these guys so late in the window.

They got a bit screwed over with Corluka, but they should have bought a midfielder earlier.

Milito has got no pace. Not sure how he'll do.

A very good player who I'd like to have seen at Utd.

Citeh have replaced him with another good player, Zabaleta. I mentioned him as a possible Utd signing in the past. A bargain too. Utd should've been in for him IMO.

Good players mate, but I think the hunger for a new right back has been tempered by the rising star of Rafael. There's also Neville back, although there is hard work ahead for a 33 year old.

Wes Brown, I will admit through gritted teeth is a solid option for now.

I really don't think we can complain too much about this squad, very happy with it.

He's a full back.

He can do a job on the wing but his preferred position is in defence.

Zabaleta is primarily a right back, but he can also fill in at various midfield positions.
