Hes not a left back, he never will be a left back. Its not his fault he has to fill in.

maybe not but he is a £#%&!ing defender, supposedly. His instincts for spotting danger and reacting to situations are absolutely £#%&!ing awful. So is his passing btw like all our defenders except blind.

Memphis cost us the 3rd . He done the hard bit by getting back and thought he'd done enough . He should have just smashed it out of play .

Not seen a replay yet but Darmian was to blame for the build up but agreed on Depay ....recurring theme with him but up until then he was good and Im not a big fan but like he did on Saturday he added something

Looks like a boy playing with men at times

Seems to have an extraordinary ability to £#%&! up nearly every pass he makes

I know it's his first season but he looks so far away from the quality of full back we require that it's hard see him improving enough to be good enough

Badly miss Shaw and even Tony V

Looked like a world beater when he came, but his confidence has fallen off a cliff. Unfortunately a common theme with our manager.

Nah
He was looked decent defensively for 2 or 3 games but he's always looked poor going forward

Woodward needs to understand that there is no big 'un to be gained from merely briefing the press, you have to actually be able to sign these people or you end up looking like a mug, and the club with you.

Not for me. He performed well at times but on the whole I thought people went overboard with the praise. Even pre season he seemed to be there or thereabouts when we conceded.

Chips have been down lately and he appears to be a shitbag - that's not something you can fix with coaching.

A world beater? Jesus christ your standard for 'world beater' is shockingly low.

What's Messi then? An intergalaxy beater?

Darmian looked, and this is being generous, a decent enough full back with potential. This has since long given way to an absolute mess of a footballer.

Thought he was younger than (just turned) 26. It's probably not the best time to judge his potential when there's a CB pairing of Smalling and Blind next to him. It's also probably not the best night to analyse him when he's played left back instead of right back.

The likes of Vidic and Evra didn't look like they belonged here early on..

TBH - I thought Vidic looked decent more or less straight away. Evra took until the first game of the following season v Fulham to really adjust but boy did he hit the ground running.

As did I. I remember him looking a bit shaky against West Ham at home, think he ended up playing alongside Jonathan Spector. Both players confidence grew tremendously as time went on, hoping for the same with Darmian.

Yep. Reality is that, given Darmian's form, Valencia would be first choice right-back easily at this point. So we're without both first-choice left-backs and first choice right-back. Need to address this issue in the summer with good cover at LB and, as it stands, a new RB.
