i agree on Quieroz without doubt; Ferguson picked the right man for the job

and i'd definately buy into the idea that Nani and Anderson (and Ronaldo) would've been affected by his departure and have been as well

don't know if it's actually true but it sounds plausible enough

dare say Phelan is a very good coach who knows his stuff. hard not to see him as that hitler @#%&! playing instead of a footballer in the early 90s though

and there are specialist coaches all over the place now for all the different skills and disciplines needed

2003/2004 is when we went out to Porto, lost the league to Arsenal and won the FA cup against Millwall.

Might have been the season after when we won £#%&! all but my memory is shit

That was 05/06.

04/05 and 05/06 were transitional seasons really, Rooney and Ronaldo being young and coming through. We had the infamous 4-5-1 often in those years, CQ probably had his bad moments but 06/07 and 07/08 we were untouchable at times.

I still stand by the fact that Ronaldo isn't the same without CQ at the club.

Not just Ronaldo, or Anderson and Tevez..

Look at how Nani's been treated as well this season, i'm convinced had Quieroz been here Nani would be progressing from the promsie he showed last season but he isnt being given the chance.

Park is a player I stood up for, and rated highly as a squad player but when he starts every week it just takes the piss. he is not a threat in the final 3rd, and these days hes starting to get the basics wrong as well. Its a shame that this robotic player with only 2 goals and 2 assists this season is being chosen over a more youthful player that got well over double figures in assists last season

Park is not the only problem, but hes a big part of the problem. Reina has more assists than him for christ sake.

Yes, for most of the season. Then Walter Smith was brought in near the end.

Possibly, although I‘m not sure you can say he‘s had no chance. He has had some opportunities, but like Tevez the problem isn't so much about how many games he's played, it's how he's been used. Nani rarely seems to get a look in at important times, and there’s no doubt he’s not been as confident a player this season.

Maybe Fergie is trying to take the pressure off him by not demanding too much, but when you consider that Queiroz was responsible for bringing Nani here and was his main inspiration on the coaching staff, the reduction in his role and drop in squad status since he left can only have had a negative impact on his confidence. It's understandable to take him out of the picture a little to dampen expectation, but maybe after Queiroz left it was important to maintain that level of trust and belief in him, at least for a little while.

Remember when CQ was blamed for our boring football? Now his exit is blamed for us losing our creative backbone.

Scapegoat United.

He left, £#%&! him.
