Abramovich might be the dopiest looking @#%&! on the planet, and he might also be the plank who paid over £80M for fading forces like Shevchenko and Torres ... but FFS surely even he isn't daft enough to offer us Mata and cash for Rooney??

If he is that desperate for Rooney we should rinse him for as much as possible like other teams do, either more money with Mata or chuck Ramires in as well. Or even just straight cash only, £50M like he paid for Torres...

Echoed, Im sure, but what on earth are Chelsea thinking? Mata is one of the best players in the league, certainly their best player. Don't get that one at all. Wouldn't want to see Rooney going to Chelsea (where I think a fresh start would rejuvenate him) but Mata plus enough extra to tempt Barca in to selling Fabregas and it'd be a superb summer. Even Fellaini plus Mata would be a great summer.
