Was worth a gamble at the price imo, but been an absolute disaster.

You're probably right, the MLS is a piss easy league so he'll blitz it.

Hopefully all the work he's done off the field & around the club has been worth it, unfortunately his contribution on the pitch has been pretty mediocre at best so far.

He's a player that gets a 'pass' as it were simply for his name & his personality rather than his performances. He's half the player Carrick is & 5 years younger.

him not playing is nowhere near as disappointing as his shooting.

First season, beasting the league winners.

His body is probably at the same age as Carrick because he puts himself on the line.

We were solid before he got injured too.

I doubt both he and Carrick will be let go this summer. I don't think Schweinsteiger's performances have been that bad.

schweinsteiger is a class player. he hasn't been helped by what has been expected of him by king louis. that can be said of all our midfielders.

This place. Moist when they thought Pedro was coming, suicidal when he scored a cracker on his debut just before his silent move into total obscurity.

Now writing off the 31 year old World Cup winning captain and one of the best midfielders of his generation because he's been injured.

This is the best thing about Schweinstiger.
