Yeah, real shame that a bloke we sold to Villarreal, who after six seasons there was sold to Fiorentina, before loan moves to Levante and Celta Vigo, followed up by switches to Genoa and Real Salt Lake, prior to finishing his glorious career with Serie B side SPAL, didn't get more chances with us.

Keeps me up at night some evenings thinking how many special moments we missed out on by letting Giuseppe Rossi leave. Up there with Kenyon passing on Ronaldinho, for me.

He was a class player. A series of bad injuries are what £#%&!ed his career. He was doing well in Spain until then, and had done well for Parma when he was on loan there as a youngster.

Genuinely didn't even know he was still playing. Thought he retired about ten years ago.
