He needs to follow Ronaldo's example and slim down

He's far too big especially in his upper body

Think back to when he was at his best at Spurs and he was far leaner and more mobile

If he doesn't change he'll be done at highest level by 30 like Rooney

Benzema has also lost some mass, again has looked a better player for it. Bale bulked up massively during his first year at Madrid and their"program", all part of trying to turn himself into Ronaldo.

Does not really run with the ball anymore, like Ronaldo at the same age he has been transitioning into more of an efficient goalscoring focused player, can't have 2 of those in the same team, and Bale is not as good at it. Needs to move and find his own team. Utd would have been a great platform for him.

Any sane man would agree. We're desperate for more quality though.

He'd be devastated and desperate to prove them wrong. Those are the best kind of birds/chimps.

About 79 matches with 17 different injuries

The injuries will surely cost him in the long run too?

Can't see him reinventing himself the same way Giggs, for example, did? As soon as his pace goes he'll be on his arse.

I love bale but £#%&! him. If we're gonna be dropping 100m on someone it should be Dybala

The difference as far as I can see is that United wasted all summer chasing fabregas whereas United haven't bothered with bale, instead telling him if he's interested and wants United to go for him, then show it.

I think we all know, including mourinho , that United are his second choice behind Madrid and will only leave if he is forced to. Hence our actions.

Exactly. Since he's been at Spurs he only had one destination in mind and everywhere else wasn't worth his time.

£#%&! him. He had his chance. I don't want United to be the place where he goes now his body is breaking down.

He'll have to go somewhere though. Maybe not this season but he'll leave soon enough once he's benched.

Im not bothered, i think he's a crock and i cant bare Real Madrid. So let them sell him for a ransom elsewhere.

Best get someone though !!

Peppers doesnt care. He knows he's £#%&!ed if they dont win something major this season so is just going all out. I also think they try for these players just to get their name in the conversation.
