I look at things very differently.

Lindelof cannot be judged on his first half of football He is exactly what we have needed, him and Bailly will be a great partnership next season. Rojo or Blind could come in if we go to a 3 at the back
Shaw is sending out all the right noises, we missed a left back big time last season.
2nd season for Pogba and Mikhi who I think will be right up there for POTY.
Rashford will score plenty, he's bulked up and I reckon he will bag 15 minimum
Lukaku gives us pace and power upfront and scores plenty against poor teams, if we had won half the drawn games we did last season we would have been in the run in for the title
Martial won't have a season as disappointing as last
TFM and Perreira a year older and experienced

When back fit you'd think Rojo would be the first centre back on the team sheet? So it'll be out of Bailey or Lindelof who partners him

As for Lindelof, how big is he? he looked small for a centre back against LA and hasn't he played right back quite a lot? Perhaps he's seen as a long term replacement for Tony?

Going on last season it could be argued he was our best centre back? I'm not his biggest fan but the others aren't exactly head and shoulder above him

Bailey is young and towards the end of the season showed his inexperience. Lindelof has played 45 minutes for us, is 23 and been playing in the Portuguese league for the last couple of seasons and Jones is Jones....

We could have done with an experienced centre back tbf.

It couldn't. He was bordering on being a liability, then levelled off and was decent for a spell, then got injured.
